Need electrical power

hello all

I need a power tap that comes on with the ignition key for an amp what is the normal place to tap into? The amp is in the boot. I would like to run as little wire as possible. but it Ineed to go the fuse panel somewhere then so be it.

I just wired up a Sirius aftermarket unit using this neat little device -

Use the fuse number he indicated and you will have power when the ignition is on.

Took me less than half an hour to get my wiring in place with thiis - but I was wiring power to near the head-unit, not the boot. I did have to run an antenna wire to the boot and had no trouble running it down the center panel, then up and under the rear seat and around to the boot.

In the left boot cubby is a thin white wire going up to the aerial it is the aerial amp trigger - you can use this to trigger an amp
