Other stuff being: H/K, Nav system, Aux input and Parrot EVO bluetooth from ministuff? And while I'm at it, how about the CD-Changer and SAT, How much stuff can you attach to the H/K head unit

The main problem I can see with your list is that the OEM iPod adapter replaces the CD changer cable. This means that you won't be able to use a boot-mounted CD changer, nor the OEM SIRIUS... if you use the iPod adapter. The entire cable to the boot gets unplugged, so the iPod adapter can take its place.

HOWEVER, since the OEM SIRIUS receiver has a "pass-through" option for the CD changer, it's possible (not verified though) that you could plug the iPod adapter into the pass-through port on the OEM SIRIUS receiver, and it would work. Of course, unless you find or fabricate some kind of extension cable, that would also mean your iPod would have to be kept in the boot, not in the front.

The CD changer and the iPod adapter are 100% incompatible with each other though. The iPod adapter actually looks and acts like a CD changer (as far as the head unit is concerned), and each of the playlists that you have to set up on the iPod in advance appears to be a separate "disc" to the head unit.

Do they even make an OEM iPod adapter that will work with the H/K and Nav setup? I have an '03 w/DVD Nav and H/K and would love to figure something out. A new Alpine deck would be nice. There is also the MFSW issue. Seems easier to buy a new car.

Yes, the OEM iPod adapter will work fine with Nav & H/K. Like I said above, it basically replaces the CD changer.

The pass-thru option if OEM Sirius is installed works well with the aftermarket iPod adapters that have a cable to connect into the rear CD changer connection. I've had the Dension IceLink+ (available at Best Buy), the Monster iCruze with the cool display, and now I have the DICE Electronics module that also connects in the boot. All of these come with a long extension cable to run from the boot to the dash area where you locate the interface box and the docking connector cable so you don't have to put your iPod in the boot.

You'll need the BMW SAT cable to connect onto the pass-thru port on the OEM Sirius. The part number for the BMW cable can be found here. One thing I have found though is that using this pass-thru configuration can induce some ground loop noise. I had to rearrange the ground wires in one of the connections to solve that.

I decided that rather than running the cable all the way back to the front from the boot, that I would just leave my iPod installed in the boot. Now it sits in the little side panel where the Sirius receiver is located, all tucked in real nice, and nobody knows that I have an iPod in the MINI.

Just one of my ways of helping in the loss prevention area.

I just did the install this week to include NAV, Aux Input, IPOD adapter on my HK setup. Not certain on the Bluetooth module. The ipod adapter uses the CD changer port. the aux Input shares the same port as the Yellow NAV cables.
