Navigation & Audio HK modification?
A local stero guy suggested adding a second amp to the HK system to drive a sub (10"
. then turning down the bass on the head unit to reduce the movement of the 6 1/2" s in the rear. He thinks that lessening the power draw of the bass, it would allow the system to have more power available for the higher frequencies. Hopefully increasing the crispness of the top end. The sub would also pick up the lower frequencies that the stock speakers cant reach. I am happy with the HK but, I would like a "little" more. ( I know it's just like horespower) What do you think?

never can have too many horses or too many watts! I think this quote from the band Hot Action Cop says it best:
"I got the green glow under my car, I got the BOOM BOOM system you can hear real far"

I'v found that the HK unit's volumn only goes up so far. Even with bass turned down low or the treble turned up high, it reaches a point where it won't go any louder. I think it has to do with the head-unit, not necessarily the amp. However, I agree that having a separate sub-woofer to isolate low frequencies would allow the other speakers in the system work more "efficiently".
