Anyone know the size of the front and rear speakers in the new Mini?? Thanks. :smile:

The rear's are 6x9 with plenty of depth front and rear to cope with most units. The fronts are 5.75" with a special moulding and fixing points. I have used this as a template and made an MDF mount for standard 6.5" speakers. Watch the depth though.

POLK EX series 6x9's in the rear and 6.5 components up front fit perfect in mine, and vastly improved the audio of the stock system without adding an amplifier.

Make sure that any speaker replacement be done with speakers that are highly efficient. The stock amp is not that strong and if you play your music with any volume then you might not be able to avoid distortion with higher volume.
If you have added an aftermarket exhaust any louder than Borla standard or the JCW kit then you might need an amp with the new speaker upgrade.
