Do a search on this forum. Its been covered a gazillion times.

Short answer: You dont need a CD CHanger, in fact, you CANT use a CD changer with it. You are looking for the CD Changer WIRING, thats located in the trunk, on the passenger side wall

You should be able to connect it to the plug on the back of the radio. That is where mine is.

But it may have changed since I bought mine which was 3 yrs ago.

The version of IceLink that is available at BB is only capable of hooking up to the CD changer connection in the right rear side of the boot. The version that hooks up directly to the back of the head unit is only available from Dension.

I hope I can help this time. Here is a link. I know it's for XM but it'll give you an idea of what you are looking for.

Dension TS (Zoltan) was unable to explain why the CD changer ice-link was better than the H/U ice-link one other than the fact they frequently are out of the H/U ice-link. My strong suggestion for you is to return the one you have to bust-buy and order the H/U one from Dension. You'll save yourself a lot of time this way. Also, Dension is coming out with new H/W for the Mini that will be improved and fix the issues I'm currently having with it (see my other posts).

That said, if you still want to install the CD changer ice-link, PM me because the install is still fresh in my mind and I learned quite a few lessions that I'd be more than happy to share.

Cheers!
