XM Roady 2 Antenna
I used to keep the Roady 2 Antenna on the dash of my convertible, but after talking to some people as well as someone that works at XM I've found I always have 3 bars of signal if I put it on my trunk as oppose to the 1 to 0 bars I get with it inside. Anyways, I'm wondering if anyone has found a good way to hide the wire going from the centre console area through the trunk. My main issue seems to be what to do with the wire in the front passenger seat.
How big is this cord? I recently wired up a Basslink remote module in
my parcel tray and what I did was ran the cord under the weather strip
by the door. Just lift the edge and push the cord under it. There's
plenty of room to put a pretty decend sized cord there.
Then you can push the cord under the side panels by the b-pillar (oh wait
you don't have a b-pillar. hahaha) well, the side panels by the rear seat.
Then you can lift the rear seatbench upwards and feed the cord under
the seat into the boot.

I put my antenna right behind my radio antenna in the back, routed the wire in (it's exposed slightly until it gets to the trim, but it's not problematic) and routed the wire on the drivers side just tucking it up into the headlinder the full route...then down the A pillar, to under the dash..from there just route it however you see fit to your mounting location.
Good luck!
Good luck!
