I'm not sure if it relates to the Mini Bluetooth, but knowledge is power!

 

Thats only going to happen untill you are out of range, which should be no more than 10 seconds if your doing 50-60mph. So what if someone gets to listen to 10 seconds of my phone call, they are gonna hang up as soon as they hear my wife....lol

 

I'm not completely sure this is an issue.

I know the HCB-300 from Sony won't connect to any random device that sends it's passcode out. The HCB-300 must be in discoverable mode and that's not the default mode for the kit.

If the MINI kit works in a similar fashion it too is not at risk.

I know the Audi kit has been mentioned as being vulnerable to this threat.

As for being able to take advantage of this exploit. The picture posted on that website is actually not real accurate. Odds are the attack would be carried out by a car that was tailing the target vehicle, and not by a stationary attacker targeting a passing vehicle.
