I have an early '03 build MCS with radio model # AL5007. Does anyone know if this model radio will accept a wired iPod link? If not, do you know whom at MINI I might ask for info? And if it can't accept a wired link, do you have any suggestions about the best alternative (iCruze, Alpine, Ice-link, etc.)? Father's Day is coming! Thanks for your help...

 

Not sure which model my HU is, but Bettie is a March '03 build without the HK option and she is using the OEM ipod adapter without issue. Hope that helps.
