Itunes MINI playlist

Hey guys I have just finished searching the forums here to find this but no luck. The other day I am not sure what forum or where I seen a name of an "Official"(I believe) playlist that MINI made on itunes for MINI owners with Ipods. Is this the case? I have searched Itunes and no luck. I cannot remember for the life of me what the title of it was. Any help will be great! Thanks

A playlist with MINI themed songs? Or the playlist name used for your iPod to work in your MINI? Because you can name your playlists beginning with MINI1, MINI2, etc up to 5 to access them thru your MINI using the preset stations. Other than that if it is a playlist of MINI themed songs, I would love to hear it!

As far as I know it is a list of songs available for purchase on iTunes. My guess is it is probably a list of songs that they offer on MINI's music Cd's. I am drawing a blank on where I saw it the other day. I am still searching for it here. If anyone knows. HELP!

No, you are confused.

When you use the factory ipod adaptor, you have to make playlists (called MINI1, MINI2, MINI3, MINI4, MINI5 that correlate to the pre-set buttons on the radio) to have them recognized by the headunit. You create them on the ipod and put your songs in them - it has nothing to do with the itunes store or anything like that.

I dont believe I am totally incorrect... (The thread I am remembering had nothing to do with the MINI ipod adapter, but rather tunes to listen to)

I searched Itunes and was able to search members I mixes. I typed in MINI Cooper and did get a couple results like:

"Driving music for you MINI Cooper S"

I havent found anything that seems to be put on there by MINI or BMW.

Hmmm...I don't recall ever reading anything like that...maybe it was just something someone made for themselves...

Thanks maximus MINI I knew I seen it someplace! Its in the Fathers day gift ideas from MINI Motoring gear. Here is what it says

Carry a tune without scratching the paint.
Custom designed for the 3G IPOD, 4G IPOD as well as the MINI IPOD. The MINI iPod Case helps ensure your iPod stays as ding free as your MINI. It also features a rubber logo side patch and an included armband.

Listen up: we created an iMix at the iTunes Music Store specifically for your on-road enjoyment. Just open iTunes and search for "MINI mix 01" to preview and purchase singles

So here it is!

Not sure about the Windows version of iTunes, but on the Mac version...

You have to click on the magnifying glass icon and select "iMixes" as your search field. Then type in "MINI mix 01" and it will appear, along with several others.

I don't see how that's much of a 'Mini' list...I have some of those, and like them, but some of those ...eh...take um or leave um...and don't see the connection to the car. Seems like pretty much a random mix of all differnt kinds of music. Gimick.

My Mini Mix

Here is an imix of some of my favorite songs that i like to listen to while tooling around. Some are road oriented, especially the German Test Ride by Spymob, by far the best actual "road" song i have heard. Its my theme song for my daily mini experience!

I would love to see other people song selections of what they enjoy listening to as they drive around smiling in their minis!

Tim, your MINI iMIx is cool!

I really enjoy German Test Drive, and that particular Depeche Mode remix of Route 66!

I think German Test Drive is the best Free Song to date. The free songs have given me a reason to celebrate Tuesdays.

I gotta agree with kaelaria, that MINI Mix is ok, but those don't really float my boat. Not really true "motoring" songs.
