Hey all

I have a 12inch 1,200 watt kenwood speaker i plan to throw in the boot.

Will this be too much for the MCS?

Cheers.

Depends on how much you like the sound of your license plate, bumper and hatch vibrating!

Yeah...what he said^

If you plan to do that you better plan to spend a lot of time and money on some serious sound deadening.

is that 1200 watts RMS? if so, then you'll be deaf in one note.

This is what I am running with...

a Infinity Cappa Perfect 10" subwoofer in the smallest non truck MDF box I can find. I'm running about 300 watts RMS to it, and it pretty much drowns out my fronts and rears without me turning down the bass to -1 on my pioneer Head Unit.

If you want droning bass that takes out everything except the shake... put that 12 in... but don't run that much power. If you want more response, and the boom at the same time, go with a 10.

'04 Mini Cooper CVT (Maximusmini's old YellowBomber) Rear Sway, 18 inch Kazera, K&N Typhoon. Pioneer Stereo (XM Installed) 10" Inifnity Cappa Perfect, 282 Rolling Thunder Amp, Dynomat through and through. No rattles, other than the Sun Roof when it's open!

sry, but i'm picky about my infinity stuff

Kappa is the correct spelling, but i'm not here to complain about it lol

anyways, i run a single infinity reference sub, 250 rms, 1000 peak and right now i only have 125 watts going to it. its enough that it has already rattled the glue loose on the foam behind the bumper in back, i had to take it off and fix it. i cant wait to get my kicker amp for it now!!!

also, i'm running an HK system so if anyone needs and help installing a line out or another amp into their hk, gimme a hollar and i might be able to help!
