Navigation & Audio iPod hook up question

iPod hook up question

Is this the same thing that outmotoring.com sell??? Looks differnt but alot but $30 cheaper. Says its compatible with 02+ minis!

I don't know if this is the same one outmotoring sells, but I installed it last week, and it works the same as the MINI one. It is very easy to install. I have a MCSC, and just mounted the whole thing in the trunk, since I wanted to keep the ipod locked up, and you can't use the controls on it anyway. It just plugs into the stock changer harness. No splicing or cutting.

On the cabrio, there are just 4 screws to remove. Pull out the rear plastic trim, and the felt side piece, and plug it in to the harness. Put it all back in...

Also, I used a Crutchfield referral coupon that saved $20, so it was $106 shipped. They had it to me the day after I ordered it, but I guess I'm close to them.
