I have a March 03 build MCS in which I have installed an aux input and I'm having some weird problems with it. It seems to work fine with my XM Roady for a while, but then it just swithes modes to the CD player. At this point I lose the aux mode altogether, but as soon as I unpug the cable from the Roady to the input, the aux mode comes back. Once the cable is plugged back in it works for a few seconds, then I lose the aux mode again. It just continues to do this over and over. I don't think anyone else has had this issue, so I purchased another input cable from MINI, hoping this might solve the problem. Nope, same thing with the new input cable. My car is out of warranty, so no help from the dealer. I was hoping someone here at NAM might have a suggestion for me. Thanks.

 

Any answers to this? I'm having the exact same problem, with a dealer-installed AUX input jack....
