I need some help. Anyone know how to import all my mp3s from Realplayer to iTunes? I can do it if I do one song at a time but I have 4000+ songs. This would take forever.

In your opinion, is iTunes a better player/jukebox than realplayer?

 

Should be an "Import" option available in the menus. Go ahead and select the folder RealPlayer keeps all your tunes in, it will pull them all, copying location or duplicating the files to the iTunes folder.

You might experience some problems with ID3 tags, depending on how compliant the files are.

EVEN EASIER! just select all of the songs from their folder and drag and drop them into the itunes window while it is open! it shall work!

 

Maxi - used your suggestion and it worked like a charm. Easy to do.

Since I now have all my songs in iTunes, does it mean my computer is now using double the space (memory) to store songs? Can I delete the songs in my realplayer later if I decide to use iTunes as my jukebox?

 

Delete the songs from the original folder. iTunes will store all your music in its own iTunes music folder.
