XM Roady Antenna Wire - Get unlocked door warning.

I have XM radio now (Roady). The problem with the Roady is the antenna wire. I have the wire going out the hatch back, antenna mounted on the rear of the roof. I keep getting a warning signal that my hatchback door is not closed securely - wow the sensor must be sensitive because the hatchback door closes just fine. Anyway to get around this? I have threaded the antenna wire every which way. I guess the Sirius plug and play unit will cause the same problem, right?

Thanks!

I've got a Roady antenna wire that goes out the back hatch and I have had no problem at all with the "hatch open" warning light.

I pulled down the hatch gasket, pulled the antenna through and put the gasket back in place.

Maybe there is something else going on???

Nah, it somehow sensed the antenna wire and concluded the hatch was not closed properly. But the problem was on my old Mini. I now have a new Mini and have not tried it yet. Hope it works.
