Question about ICElink pro

Does anyone have the icelink pro hooked up to a 2002 mini?

how well does it work?

im not too concerned with the id3 tag thing with reading the names of the tracks, i just want to be able to listen to my ipod from my car and crontrol it from my radio.

It's called the Ice Link Plus, and I have it installed in my 2003 MINI. I don't think there would be any difference with a 2002. I love it, the install was easy, and if you have the Multi-Function Steering Wheel, it works great. If you don't have the MFSW, it is still easy to control it with the head unit controls.
I agree that the id3 tags aren't a big issue-honestly, it would probably be annoying reading them on the head unit, because of the one line display, and the limited number of characters it would probably have to be scrolling, which would probably be dangerous to try to read. I have mine mounted with a ProClip mount, on the right downtube, right next to the radio, so it's just as easy for me to glance over at the iPod and see all the song information at once.
