Another observation.....maybe others have experienced this. I noticed my FM reception was lousy. Only brought in strong nearby signals. Stations I would normally get, I was no longer getting. Then I learned about the crazy antenna diversity amplification system. Wow! So the question is, does the CarNaviPlayer provide constant 12V output on the blue antenna wire when in FM mode or is it only a trigger? My understanding is the antenna diversity system needs full consistent voltage to work correctly. I'll likely be taking things apart to test but perhaps someone has already figured this out. My work around if it only provides trigger voltage is to flip the feed over to the soon to be old stock radio power feed. I plan on providing new constant power as detailed in the above post.
