Looks really interesting, does anyone have experience with them?

I am new to Minis, but not to car modding. Known as Grendel on many other forums.

I did the Metra kit on my daughter's R56LCI that had the HK speakers along with a Sony AX touch screen. I am not really a fan of how low it is on the dash. I have the same speedometer as she does, but she had seat heaters and digital HVAC where mine is all base stuff.

Anyhow, I want a touch screen with Apple Car Play and it seems like an OEM retrofit is a bear.

So back to my question, how are they?

 

Probably not as shown on the picture, otherwise they wouldn't have bothered processing it heavily.

 

I couldn't get around the Chinesium aspects. So I did what I did in every other vehicle that needed a touch screen:

Sony AX1000 head unit with car play and JL Audio components in the doors.
