Hello all,

I've been reading various topics, but the all or consider upgrade of HK amp, or complete new other amp install.

My question is - can I upgrade the standard stereo to HK? It's very easy and cheap to buy the amp itself as well as the speakers used.

The most important question besides the coding - can it be fed from any HU - entrynav or nbt? Does anyone remade the part of original wiring for the amp and speakers? Any hints on that?

 

Not sure how easy it is to replace base to HK system but it's sure cheaper upgrade.

Did you install the HK amp under your seat? If so was the wiring there? I just pulled my seat and poked under the carpet but I'm not finding the wire harness.
