In my 09 R56, if I added a second Bluetooth device, I was asked if I wanted it to be the preferred device. I assume this is in case multiple devices that are paired with the car are close to the Bluetooth receiver, the preferred device would always be connected.

This does not happen in my ‘19 F56. I have two devices paired and am not asked on the second for preferred device. The kicker is that every time both phones are near the car, the one I do not want connected always gets connected. I do not see a preferred device option. Am I missing something?

 

Older MINI Connected versions had the ability to move a phone up or down in the listing and the top phone in the listing would be connected first. My '19 does not have this option. When multiple phones are displayed, only the DISCONNECT and DELETE options are present for the connected phone and CONNECT options (phone and audio) are present for the disconnected phone.
