Prevent iHeartRadio app from Auto Playing?
I have an iPhone 11Pro (iOS 13.5.1 at the moment) and my iHeartRadio app starts playing automatically every time I get in my 2017 Clubman.
Anyone know how prevent the iHeartRadio app from playing automatically? I went through every option on the phone and car and can’t find anything.
It’s so persistent that when you start playing a song in the regular Apple Music app (or the Apple podcast app, etc.) the new app plays for like 5 seconds, then iHeartRadio starts playing again automatically.
My only option is to force quit the iHeartRadio app on my phone every time I get in the car.
EDIT: I see the iHeartRadio settings has a “Playback Effects” section with an AutoPlay
option. I’ll see if that does it. EDIT2: It didn’t help.
