HK sub in a base mini

Well I thought I would be clever and put a HK subwoofer in my Base sound system mini, but seems that they are very different. Does anyone know if the crossover is built into the sub of the base sub? The base subwoofer is only 6 inches, and has a 4 pin connector and the HK has a two pin connector. I am thinking I can just add a crossover but I don't know. Does anyone have a wiring diagram of the two systems. I know they are very different but after upgrading the speakers to BAV. I don't want to pay 500 bucks for under seat subs.

so i was able to install HK subs in base sound system mini. I had to purchase a couple of sub low pass filters from Amazon. A little wiring and 8 inch subs crossed over in a base sound system mini.

Are you happy with the results of the Bavsound/HK combination?
