XM PNP unit with blitzsafe?

Trying to do a search for XM int his forum is impossible, so I'll appreciate any help or re-direction I can get.

I want XM for the MINI, but due to a tight budget and the wife wanting XM in the house too, I'm going to have to sick with a SKYFi style plug-n-play reciever. Is there any way to hook up the Plug n play systems via the blitzsafe unit? So I can just plug the thing in in the back and forget about it?

THanks!

Do you have broadband at home because they offer XM on the web for $3.99 a month. You could play it thru your computer.

Yep! It's called the Skylink cradle. We've been waiting on this cradle for a looooong time! You can buy the Blitzsafe SLD-01 cable now ($180). The cradle which is crucial to what you want to do is still being worked on. We are told it will be ready by December. Hmmm didn't they say that last year?

Anyone who is on a tight budget isn't going to shell out $180 for cable. LOL. You also need to purchase the "special" cradle for it as well, the price of which has yet to be announced.

I asked Marc at Blitzsafe about the status of SkyLink. The response was most informative, but a bit disconcerting:

Guess I'll be ordering the Terk XMDirect tuner for now and upgrade to Skylink sometime in the future. I got SLD01 from enfig.com for $150 and the XMDirect tuner is < $40 online, so not bad - XM for < $200.[font=Arial][size=2]
