Hk speakers

It's probably been posted before but I can't find it I just bought a 2003 mini and it has a HK system in it the thing won't work the radio doesn't light up (the fuse is good) my question is from what I understand the HK speakers are 2 ohm so if I use a 2 ohm stable amp I can use the stock HK front and rear speakers and just run aux cords to my amp and change the speakers at a later date correct

If the headunit doesn't turn on (light up), then either it is not receiving power or the headunit is broken. Get the headunit working before you consider doing anything else (everything might start working). If you need to replace it, any year 2003-2006 OEM headunit is compatible. The standard and HK systems both use the same headunit.

BTW, you posted in the wrong section (2nd Generation).
