Do you find the speedo and tach on the steering column adequate in size. Also, are they clearly viewable or does the steering wheel block some of the view. I test drove an mcs with sat nav, but the tach and speedo appeared to be smaller than if it was just the tach on the column and they were a little difficult to see. Maybe I should have tried to adjust the column????

 

I have a 2005 with the Chrono pak and "mouse ears" as my daughter calls the tach and speedo. They suck as a design, and unless you are under 4 feet tall, the wheel will block the top of both units. You learn quickly to judge by the position of the needle in the middle of the speedometer as to what your speed is. They should be squatter, but they have had this design since the start for people with the Navigation system, so they must know its bad - I guess they just choose not to fix it.

 

I have the chrono pack and my son calls the wheel as well as the chrono pack hidden Mickeys (like you would find in Disney world).

I am 6'4" and have the seat pushed one click from its furthest back, the seat cranked all the way down (so its low) and the sheering wheel tilted all the way up. I do not find any problem reading either the tach or MPH. I would suggest that if you do find it trouble then you will get used to it. I find myself looking down all the time at the speedo. Apparently a lead foot came standard with the car and I did not even know it.

I will tell you one thing...I love watching the oil pressure go up and down.
