iPhone to Android

Hi All, Happy 4th of July!

I and considering upgrading(switching over) my iPhone 5s to the Samsung Galaxy s7 edge.

I have been using my iPhone with the BMW/Mini cable to play iTunes, and stream music (Spotify/Pandora) in my 2013 Coupe S(standard audio system).

Has anyone regret changing to Android from iPhone?

I should be able to connect the S7 Edge to my Mini, using a micro USB to USB type A cable and a 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio cable? Correct?

When you connect the USB port on the android phone, I think the MINI will see the phone as a mass storage device, like a USB thumb drive. When you connect the phone via 3.5 mm cable, the phone will see the MINI like a headphone. With this you'll need to run an app on the phone like google music or a streaming app. Hope I'm making sense here..

No USB audio streaming for Android phones - you would have to use an AUX cable. Like AZdsrt mentioned, it can play music stored on the phone as a mass storage device, but any kind of audio streaming (like Pandora/Spotify) isn't supported.

Thanks, I received my new phone. I have been using it the last 2 days with auxiliary 3.5mm jack. Sounds fine. I just can't control it via radio or steering wheel. Oh well ill just have to live with it.
