XM Direct with Nav

HI Gang,

Well, yesterday I received my XM Direct kit with the Blitzase adapter. I was unsure of this would work on my 2004 MCS, w/ HK and Sat Navigation. I am happy to say it works perfectly eventhough Blisafe says it will not work with the navigation system. Apparently this is true with BMWs, but not Minis. Anyway, I got the kit from http://www.myradiostore.us/bundles/c...ni-cooper.html for $279, plus tax and shipping, around $300.

The kit is easy to get going. It took like 5 minutes. I am going to go to Best Buy mobile installation services so they can run the antenna wire to the boot compatment and so they can stuff all the pieces next to the HK amp. I am not the handiest person. The antenna is small and magnetic.

Yo can see all the info on the display of the HU, while not the greatest (Artists or Song Titles may not fit), it's better than having the clutter of of a Roady style receiver. The MFSW works nicely, controlling the preset-stations.

I hope this helps others, as I could not completely verify wether and how this would work on my Mini setup
