Mono amp recommendation wanted to drive a JL Audio 10TW1

A couple years ago I put a set of
Infiniti Reference 6500CX Infiniti Reference 6500CX
components into my Clubman, driven by a http://www.jlaudio.com/xd200-2-car-audio-xd-amplifiers-98260. Have been very happy with it, great quality audio, plenty loud. But I'd like to fill out the bass.

My plan is to build an enclosure under the flat load floor of my Clubman to house a JL Audio 10TW1; it seems to be a good driver, shallow enough (if just barely) to clear, decent power handling, emphasis on quality of audio.

I'm trying to pick an amp to drive it. I'll be taking pre-amp out from the XD200 and feeding it to the sub's amp, and I plan to install said amp behind the trim panel of the boot on the passenger side. There appears to be a decent amount of room there, but I'm not sure just how much space I'll have to work with. Based on what I've seen other people put into that spot, I think that I have up to 12"x10"x3" to work in, but I'm not sure.

What amp would you use in this scenario? My budget is about $200.

Currently, I'm looking at the following amps:

* Pioneer GM-D8601 - $200, much more power than this little car needs
* JL Audio JX250/1 - $200, might be a little big for the space?
* Alpine MRV-M250 - $150, right size

Anyone have a particularly good or bad experience with any of those? Would you recommend something else?

If budget was not a factor I would simply go directly for a JL Audio XD300/1, having had such a great experience with the XD under my seat driving the front speakers. But budget is a factor.

Also, would you use the 2-ohm or 4-ohm version of the 10TW1? My understanding is that while 2 ohm gets you more volume, 4 ohm drivers are more tightly controlled. (Just on that I lean to 4. I want quality, not power. Although okay, I do enjoy feeling a good thump in my chest.)

Thanks for any help, comments, experiences, or good jokes!

Update: Bought a used Arc Audio XDi650.1 via the forum classifieds over at diymobileaudio.com/forum. So that's that. Crossing fingers, it should more than do the job.

I didn't expect to win the game of "Stump the NAM guys!" That never happens!
