IPhone 6 and iOS 8.4 issue

I just updated my iPhone 6 to iOS 8.4 and it no longer works properly with my 2012 Roadster using the MINI Y cable and the Apple Lightning adapter. Any ideas? It was working OK this morning on iOS 8.3.

IPhone 6 and iOS 8.4 issue

Update: I went back to my car last night after just connecting the phone to the computer and it worked! Recognized as an iPod, track info, the lot. I didn't backup or restore, or do anything else at all. I suppose it synced, but that's it.

I updated my 5s to 8.4 yesterday and had no problems connecting using a Y-connector today. Used the Spotify app on my MINI display all the way to work.

I too have had numerous issues with my phone after updating to what is now becoming the 'Infamous' 8.4 update for so many people. I had to sync my phone with my computer just to get the phone to play stored music again, but it still won't work with my Clubman yet.
I don't get any syncing with the car as an option like I had previously with 8.3.
iPod never comes up as an option for Mode selection no matter what I try.
We're not updating my wifes phone until Apple gets 8.4 sorted out since she not only has Mini Connect in her Countryman, but is far less tolerant of not being able to use her Playlists in her phone for driving or for her Gym class [ I would have one VERY unhappy camper on my hands]....

I understand her/your concerns....
After my recent upgrade I can no longer play Rhapsody as a connected music app. Not sure if it's a connected issue or a Rhapsody concern as I get a "Unsupported OS Version.IOS version 6.0 or greater is required to connect"
I'm using a 5s with a snap in cradle in the armrest in a 2011 CMS.
I am able to pick from Pandora & Spotify.

I must have shamed the car and the phone. iPod is working again.
Go figure...😇
