Does anyone know whether it is possible to enter into the Address List a position that has been obtained by the crosshairs manual input method -- (as distinguished from inputting by house address number and street name which I know CAN be added to the Address List) ???

Would appreciate a definitive answer if possible.

I know you are going to hate me, but yes you can. I just don't have my car or manual in front of me. Look in the manual, it was in there, and I did it once.

 

I wish I knew how you did it, DGSZWEDA. I've studied both the manual and the Info CDRom that came with the car but I can't find where either one deals specifically with saving for future use a "Crosshairs" location. I'm getting ready for a trip to California and without problems I've input and saved to the Address List eight street addresses I'll be visiting.

But for several others the Nav System did not have street address maping. So from Yahoo Maps I printed maps of exactly where the addresses I want are located. Then using the crosshairs method I located the exact spots I want to put into the Address List -- but I couldn't figure out how to get them saved there for future reference. The system would only agree to direct me to a crosshairs location RIGHT NOW (not in Sept.). Urghhhh !
