Custom iPod Classic glovebox holster
I've had a Dice iPod adapter wired to my glovebox for quite some time. My iPod sits freely in the glovebox and tends to flop around in there a bit. Since my iPod has a semi-rigid faux leather case on it, there was no holster available to hold my iPod. What to do? Make one!
Started the process by taking some measurements of the iPod with case on using a digital caliper. Then came up with this design using an autocad program. Next is time to print it out on the 3d printer.
