Alright fellow Mini enthusiasts,

My CD Player stopped working completely in my 2004 R50 with the HK Option. I purchased a sweet Pioneer DEH80-PRS which has a ton of audiophile quality features built into it. Nto to mention, 3 24 Bit Burr Brown DACs, bluetooth, 5v preouts, etc...

So, these are my options of putting it in

1. HK Enabler- This option would be fairly quick and enable me to run my OEM speakers and amp, which seem to be fine for now.

2. New speakers running off Pioneer Amp in head unit- I know that this would require re wiring the car and I am not above that. However, I don't know how mucgh that job in paerticular would cost. Anyone re-wired their car, if you could chime in, that would be most beneficial.

Thanks in advance for your help. I am figuring a 12 year old OEM HK Amp could be on its last legs, hence why I am entertaining running better speakers from the get go.
