BMW nav in a mini?

I stumbled onto these I believe they are aftermarket drop in nav systems while searching Amazon for stereos. Link
here here
1) If this plugs right into a 98-06 BMW and works. Would it electronically work in a 1st gen mini?

2)could it be made to fit more easily then a standard 2 din aftermarket nav.

3)if it works and could be made to fit would it be a decent nav stereo unit?

More pics on the Amazon link above

You would have a hard time making that unit fit in a Mini. It is meant for the sloped and stepped dash of an E46(I have one). it would be much easier integrating an aftermarket double din unit with a flat front.

It's also 30% wider with a non-symetrical rear. Dynavin is the place to go for the latest version for your 3 series because it has iBus integration.

I'm not sure why people would want to hack up their dashboard to fit a nav based on 5-10 year old navigation architecture when they have a smartphone waiting in their pocket.
