I'd rather not cut any wires to add a new deck to my R53 without H/K and would love an adapter to go from a new alpine headunit to the stock wiring without any cutting.

Any leads or ideas?

Or if you want to use the steering wheel remote

With the appropriate cable for the brand of headunit you purchased.
There is a choice of :

Blaupunkt

Clarion

JVC

Kenwood (both single lead and DIN plug)

LG

Panasonic (CD players)

Panasonic (Multi-media units)

Pioneer

Sony

Zenec
