Help for upgrading audio

Hey all,
So finally I've decided to upgrade my audio system for 08 MCS.
I haven't decided on the parts/brands yet, but basically I came up with this list.

HU- Alpine BT media player (Since I don't really use the CD, and would like BT and USB input)

Front Speakers- 6.5 components, tweets going into the A-pillar (didn't decide on which product yet)
Rear Speakers- Delete

Sub woofer- 10 or 12" sub (I will be molding a sub box with fiberglass)

Amplifier power cable
harness for HU

Amplifier- Do I need a 5ch or 4ch?

I think that's pretty much what I've come up with. Audio experts, please let me know if I'm missing anything.

I would really appreciate if you could share any advice or help as I begin this project.
Thanks all!!

$2000 is a nice budget. That more than covers our Soundstage, and puts you within striking distance of the full Soundstage+Subwoofer setup. You can buy a subwoofer-ready Soundstage package so that you can add the Subwoofer later with minimal work and virtually no extra cost, when you are ready. Or you can stretch for the last $299 and get the whole thing now and be done with it.

If you are spending that amount, you'd be crazy not to go for the Soundstage. Ask around on this site, check the reviews. Trust me when I tell you that you can not even begin to replicate what we've done for anywhere close to the price. That's the whole point of what we do. To come close to the same level of sound quality as the Soundstage you'd need to a) buy very high quality components, b) spend much more in total, including buying some DSP processing, and c) you'd still need to drum up someone with some very extensive measurement experience and all of the very expensive equipment to do it. And that's just the sound quality - I'm not even talking about all the custom hardware, the amazing plug-n-play wiring harnesses. All of our stuff is precision manufactured. These are tooled, production parts, and the result is the most amazingly stealth installation you've ever seen.

The only reason folks don't buy our system is because it is expensive. Your budget already gets you there. I think anyone here will tell you that's an easy decision. Happy to answer any questions.

I have the system and recommend it. It's been about a year now and I still haven't been able to max out the volume. I have been able to have all my windows down, going 100+ and drown out all road noise... hehe
