2012 Cooper, Nav screen with the HK speakers help needed please.
hi guys
I have a 2012 Mini Cooper SD. It has the Nav screen and the Harman Kardon speakers installed but would like more info on its technical set up as I want to change it.
1. How is the screen connected to the amp? Optically or RCAs?
2. Can the 100hz filter to the rear speakers be removed?
3. Can the screen run an external controller like the Alpine H800 processor?
Im keeping the screen and its OBC as it is, but would like to know if I can connect it to my DLS amp instead of using the factory fitted amp. Then change the speakers and add my TDX12 sub somewhere too.
I have searched and read a few of the threads on here however it doesnt give me the info I need just yet.
Thanks

With some research, Ive been pointed to the JL Audio Clean Sweep unit, which will connect to the existing output wiring and create a 'clean sweep' normal signal which can be used to connect to an external amp etc.
I might go down this route. I think.
