GP aftermarket radio install questions

Hello all,

Just wanted to know if anyone has taken the radio out of a GP and replaced it with an aftermarket (alpine/JVC/Sony/etc).

What parts were needed and how was the installation?

i have watched many videos of removing the panels to remove the radio etc. Seems very straightforward. Just having a problem locating a wiring harness to the car.

I have seen Metra 99-9302 dash reciever kit
and Metra 40-EU10 antenna adapter. Does anyone know if these are th correct ones?

Thanks for any info you can provide...

If you have HK audio as many US cars seem to; you're gonna have a bad time.

You'll need a 40 pin Qualok to ISO adaptor then.
