I have an '08 R52. I had no sound issues with my iPhone 3GS when the audio cable was plugged into the earphone jack, but needed a SendStation with my 4S because of horrible feedback/static.

My 5S should be here next week, and I'm trying to get an idea of what I'll need with the new phone. Did anyone need a SendStation or some other line out gizmo with the 5 or 5S? The circuitry is probably the same, so knowing what problems people may have had with iPhone 5 would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
