Was looking into perhaps get a subwoofer to increase the volume of bass.
I don't really feel like doing a job that'd cost too much money. (under $500 total including installation)
I was looking into maybe getting a self-powered thin/small subwoofer that I can lay down in the corner of the trunk.
Trying to avoid going the speakers/amp/woofers route.
Any ideas or results? just looking to add a bit of bass is all.

UPDATE**
ordered the tool before really thoroughly reading the thread and realized the swap most likely helps if you have the non-upgraded sound system?
not entirely sure now if i want to go ahead and try this on my H/K system. :(

 

Couldn't find this on the Pioneer US site but if you can find a way to lay your hands on one it may serve good use. They even have a picture of it installed in a chili red R56!
