Parrot Bluetooth devices and stock radio

I have a 2006 Mini with the stock Boost radio(?). I think the Harmon Kardon was the upgrade. I'm contemplating installing a Parrot MKI 9100 Bluetooth device so that I can have hands free, and alow me to stream pandora or anything else I can get.
But I'm seeing that if I don't have a stand alone amplifier, the unit defaults to its 20watt amp. Hardly enough for 4 speakers right? Or am I wrong?
If anyone has any experience with the parrot units, please let me know!

The HK amp send a signal to the head unit that it is available. The HU the. Defaults to about 80% of max volume and sets the tone to flat. All volume and tone controls are handled by the amp. With a parrot between the HU and Amp the volume may be an issue.
