Saving sound quality setings

Hello, I have a 2007 Cooper S, with the boost CD and factory ipod in put. I go to the music note button to adjust bass, treble, balance etc, make the adjustments I want and let the system return to the home screen. When I get into the car next time the settings I adjusted always return to the way they were before I adjusted them, ie "0" what am I doing wrong?

Dont let the system return by itself force it to close by the buttons.

I can not confirm this on a 2007 but on the 2008 and up each input has its own settings so if you set the iPod input and then come back to the car and the radio is on they will be different. You would have to change to the iPod input then press the note button to see the settigns for the iPod input.

Thanks for the reply, so all I do is make the adjustments, and press the note button to save?

Yes that should do it. Let me know if you have any other problems.

No, that did not work. I did as you suggested, made the adjustments, both for cd player and ipod. Then I closed by pressing the music note button, when I came out later and restarted the Mini, same thing, all preset sound adjustments had returned to "0". I'm confused, or my radio unit might be defective.
