I have an 09 Clubman with the stock radio. Recently, our local NPR station added a bunch of HD stations. About two weeks ago, I started picking up an HD3 station on 89.5 where their "normal" broadcast resides. If I toggle back and forth between my pre-sets, it will eventually play the "normal" station again.

Any thoughts on why this is happening and how I can make it stop?

Okay some more information is needed to determine what could be causing your problem.

It's a 2009 Clubman with a stock radio. Everything else is very basic too. As an aside, the bluetooth and ipod work fine, as do the other stations. It's just the one NPR station that's giving me fits.

So do you have HD Radio in the car. That would be an Option. If you dont have HD radio then there is no way for the car to see the HD signals.

Also which "stock" radio? base or HiFi?

Also Bluetooth is an option as well, and there are two different types Bluetooth or Comfort Bluetooth (has USB option) It is best to actually list all your options as in some cases different options change the way things work. With a MINI there really is no "stock"
