Bluetooth

So the wife just bought her first r56 and we are trying to figure out the Bluetooth since there was not an owners manual. Any ideas?

?????

Is it possible that there is the bluetooth button on the steering wheel and yet not have bluetooth installed? I checked the official book on it and tried the steps but the radio does not show the option.

Yes a car can have buttons on the steering wheel and not have the necessary electronics behind them to make them work. If a car has cruise but not bluetooth then the bluetooh buttons will be there. And if a car has bluetooth but not cruise then the buttons will be there for cruise.

I.E. the steering wheel either comes with all buttons or no buttons.

The only way to know if it is really installed or installed and not working is to look in the compartment under the driver seat.

If you are going to take out the drive seat to see if it is there the DISCONNECT the Battery or you will be heading to the dealer to have the Air Bag Light reset as removing the front seats will cause a problem with the airbags in the seat if the battery is not disconnected first.
