Anyone have an iPhone 4 that is working perfectly with the Mini's BT and knows what OS they are using? I want to go here and download and install it:

Just talked to Apple again, and they want to replace the phone again:-/ So there are some people with iPhone 4's (non-s) and a Mini without mini connect that don't have a problem like me?

Geez. What a pain. Did you try using a different Y cable? I had a problem with the Y cable myself, once I got the correct one I've been problem-free. My iPhone 4S has worked without a hitch since then, through software upgrades and everything.. Only once has someone told me they couldn't hear me while using the Bluetooth but I think it was more situational (reception, noise) than anything. Something doesn't seem to add up. I would demand an answer from your dealer. malfunctioning module or something. I doubt its a software issue in the car.

Looking at the part number of the y cable it appears to be right, but even without the y cable, I have the same problem:-/ I wish the dealer wasn't 70 miles away.

I now have the iPhone 4S, previously I had the 4 and neither phone had that issue. I noticed that the alternator could use a filter. I would go back to Apple and get a new phone.

I've done that twice. Apple gave me two new phones already.
