Non-Hifi Audio Upgrade

Hello there,

I recently upgraded my stereo and installed another head unit in the secret compartment. But it is a real pain to control, and i want to use the steering wheel functions as well.

So I want to go back to the original head unit. I am currently using a Focal Solid 4 (75x4) amp, and DLS 3-way comp. with pioneer 6x9's in the back. I won't use any sub for now.

Here are my questions:

When using the stock HU with an aftermarket amp, do i need to put anything in between? (signal processor or something) Or just plug the HU to the amp?

Will the 100hz cut-off on the rear speakers affect my sound quality even with the amp installed?

And where can i find a wiring diagram?

2007 MCS R56 with Boost Non-Hifi stereo

Thanks in advance.

Get a Jbl Ms8 and pickup the signal from the drivers kick panel.

Yes it will, but it can be turned off if you use NCS Expert. Read up on it in the Mod section if you dont know what it is.

What stereo do you have? I installed an Axxess ASWC module and my steering wheel controls not only work just like stock, I gained two new function that OEM never had. I'd go that route before dealing with reinstalling the OEM HU.
