Question

So my new MCSC is coming and i ordered mini connected without the navigation. Is it possible to add the navigation after? i was 50/50 about getting the nav.

Anything is possible but if you have the dealer do it, it will cost you about 3 times what the cost of ordering it with the car would have been.

If you do it your self it will cost you countless hours of time and then you will still have a CRAPPY NAV system.

Read up on how poor the NAV system is compared to ANY other system out there. I use Google NAV on my Android phone and it is a million times better and easier to use and it is updated regularly (monthly) where the OEM NAV will be years behind.

Not even a dealer can do it. I haven't seen anybody do it with a R56 yet.

And the nav does suck.

Well i'm glad I didn't opt for the nav then.

A couple of people have done it and there is even a HOW TO started on it.

Not an easy job and in the end I my feeling is he is not really happy with it.
