Just took delivery of my 2012 MCS with the base stereo system. Decided to limit the options on this car and the HK stereo didn't make the cut. I started getting nervous after reading all the complaints around here regarding the stock stereo. Picked up the car, turned on the radio, and it was HORRIBLE...until a few hours later when I checked the settings and noticed that the balance was set all the way to the left and the fade was set all the way to the rear! Put both back in the middle and now I'd say it sounds respectable!

Admittedly I don't have the greatest hearing...
