Hi Guys,

After a jump start my navigation system died. It says cant read disc. Please insert disc or check disc. I put another navigation CD(not DVD) and it worked. But if i put DVD back same story, not working. Do you think I should get a new DVD or replace the DVD drive lens or something. Also how do you remove that DVD drive under seat?

It may just be the Dvd scratched somhow or something? if it is read the Cd that its definitely not the lens, if it were lens it would barely work. I have an 2003 Mark III that reads Cd's I usually just copy the CD on to a blank one and use that; they are not encrypted to my knowledge, im not sure about that DVD though not sure if this helps..
