My 2011 Clubman with the factory upgraded stereo does not recognize my 2008 Ipod. it states that it does not support the cable. i am using the Mini suplied cable.

anyone with that issue?

also, i have a Droid X2 and it communicates well with the car handfree, but, i cannot play the music i have on my phone through the stereo. is that becasue it is not an Iphone?

if anyone has been successful at playing music with a Droid 2, please, let me know how.

Fisrt of all this thread should be in the NAV and AUDIO Section as this pertains to all gen 2 models.

Known issue and there are many threads in the NAV and AUDIO section that cover this with part numbers and other information on how to get it to work

Not an iPhone vs other issue

I have a Droid X and a friend has the X2 and both work just fine in my 2008 MINI.

Question is what Upgraded Stereo do you have in your 2011 MINI, HK, NAV, more information on this would help greatly.

BTW, how are you connectiing your Droid to the car? Aux or USB? what cable are you using?
