Stupid Major Bug in New Connect iPhone App update.

The week MINI put out a new update to it's iPhone app for the Mini Connect that adds a new cool feature.

The new app (within the mini connect app) adds Eng temp, and real-time HP and Torque gadgets to the screen. Also adds a little G-Force screen, not useful, but fun

Here is the bug... when you have this app selected and displaying it on the screen, you cannot change radio stations via the steering wheel. The scroll buttons are rendered useless...

This makes the app cool and all, but if you don't like the song on your radio, you are screwed.

Come on? Testing 101?

I'm not finding this at all. When I have, say, Satellite Radio selected then go to the Driving Excitement App, the L/R steering wheel buttons still allow me to change stations. No problems here.

Maybe you should ask if anyone else is seeing the same thing before panning their testing...

Which iPhone are you using? Which version of iOS? Is it jailbroken? I don't doubt the behaviour you're observing, but there may be more at play here.

Yep, my MFSW buttons are fully functional with the new v2.2.0 of MINI Connect. iPhone4 running iOS 5.0.1.

I am on my "Presets" and I am not able to change the channel. I do not sit on Sat Radio, because all the stations I listen to are not next to each other.
