So I upgraded my door speakers to a set of POLKs and yes, I get better sound. However, there just isn't enough juice driving them and and full volume they start to pop and crackle, let alone with the top down, can't hear a thing on BT cell. Does anyone make a 2 channel plug/play amp system for these cars yet? Haven't taken the head unit out, so I don't know what options are in the back...suggestions?

 

Do you have the H/K or standard stereo?

 

This thread is a little old and I would like to know as well. Let's say he has the factory Boost stereo .. possible to add an amp? I would like to retain factory look
